Nigeria we all agree is called the giant of Africa but is this giant a healthy one? Blessed with so much natural and mineral resources yet seem not to fall into a rest of calmness and fulfillment.
Everywhere i turn, it is the same pathetic stories that touch the heart..pitiful pictures of severe lack and poverty. You find young men
loitering the streets with nothing to do. You see a lot of children running around when they should be in school...and you begin to wonder...what is the hope of the future generation?
A lot of our youths and children dwell in unhealthy environment and at the mercy of dreadful diseases and sicknesses. Deprived of the basic things of life, they are forced into
being hooligans, robbers, pick pockets, hawkers of food and even beggars at an early age.
The time has come!
Gone is the time of ignorance and excuses...gone are the times when silence was "golden" and people looked the other way. With Information in this age has come the power for change!...Our young men should rise up to knowledge, skills , and empowerment...
The youths should take advantage of government empowerment schemes.
The time has come for people to be entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs have come to control the finances in the society...in nigeria especially, being an entrepreneur is the easiest and fastest way to earn income and be your own boss without waiting for the government to do it all. We need a lot of entrepreneurs in our society to create the desired change in the lives of the people.
