Orisaguna's husband has expressed confidence in the humility of his wife
pointing out that he does not harbour any fears she will leave him now she is
global icon. Seen as one of the rising stars of the Nigerian fashion industry,
Jumoke, who originally trained as a hair dresser in her native Osun State, is
expected to go on and rub shoulders with the greats of the sector.
Her husband Sunday Orisaguna, said, however, that he is not
bothered about the fame going to her head.
Mr Orisaguna said: "I am very happy and I never expected it and I
didn’t know things will turn around for us this soon. I cannot express how I
feel today as I didn’t know we can get to where we are today. "I am not afraid because when we had
nothing, she was always there and if I said I needed this, she would give me.
If she is rich today, we both own it and I trust her for that a she has been a
very good wife and I believe she will continue to be good.” An Osun State-based artisan he expressed
confidence that his wife would remain the girl she met many years ago despite
the sudden fame that has come her way. They currently have two daughters.
